Job Description
GENERAL FUNCTION
Under the direct supervision of the Aquatic Center manager, the primary responsibility is to perform money transactions in the operation of a municipal swimming pool by the selling of daily pool passes and concession products and further to perform daily facility cleaning duties.
SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBLITIES
Sell daily swim passes and perform proper procedures of each transaction.
Operate the selling of concession products by following approved sanitation policies and procedures
Answer pool phone calls and transfer to proper individuals when necessary
Must be knowledgeable of the pool operation
Wear pool uniform shirts during all open hours
Maintain good communication with other staff
Perform any other duties assigned by pool supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum age, 14 years old
Experience and /or knowledge in working with money
Positive attitude and willingness to work with the general public
PHYSICAL SKILLS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, stand, sit, kneel, reach and manipulate objects, talk and/or hear. This position requires mobility.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This position can range from 1.25 - 35 hours per week including some nights and weekends. The starting rate is $8.83 per hour. Applications may be completed online at the Village of Grafton website; https://www.villageofgraftonwi.gov/.
