Job Title: Authorization Coordinator

Position Summary:

The Operations Coordinator will ensure the goals and objectives of the business are met by supporting all functions and coordinating all operations within the business.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Answers questions from staff and addresses and resolves complaints and concerns regarding logistics, technology and company resources.
  • Ensures staff adheres to deadlines, procedures, and quality standards; works to resolve any problems or errors.
  • Explains and implements company and departmental policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Collaborates with management concerning policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Assists with HR-related tasks such as: onboarding, training, and performance management. Including training of employees within GBS platforms.
  • Ensures the collection of accurate client data to ensure successful insurance authorizations and claims processing and scheduling of new clients.
  • Verifies benefits of prospective clients and resolves any issues or problems with incorrect or missing data.
  • Manages and oversees company website and social media including the addition or editing of content, SEO and problem resolution.
  • Coordinates with end users on all IT platforms and ensures staff has IT tools necessary to successfully perform their duties.
  • Supports Healthcare Office Administrator with appeals processing.
  • Resolving billing issues between employees and platforms. Support/advise employees on correcting issues.
  • Review billing reports and report to the Executive Director and Accounts Receivable.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective and creative negotiator and problem solver.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks/goals for self and others.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with individuals and groups at all professional levels.
  • Strong knowledge of various technology and software, as well as the ability to troubleshoot IT issues.
  • Consistently demonstrates a high level of integrity, responsibility, accountability, teamwork and ethics.
  • Effective with shifting roles, responsibilities, and expectations in a changing environment.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Business Administration or related field required.
  • Five years of related experience required.
  • Experience providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
  • Some supervisory or leadership experience is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year

Salary : $50,000
