Job Title: Authorization Coordinator
Position Summary:
The Operations Coordinator will ensure the goals and objectives of the business are met by supporting all functions and coordinating all operations within the business.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Answers questions from staff and addresses and resolves complaints and concerns regarding logistics, technology and company resources.
- Ensures staff adheres to deadlines, procedures, and quality standards; works to resolve any problems or errors.
- Explains and implements company and departmental policies, procedures, and standards.
- Collaborates with management concerning policies, procedures, and standards.
- Assists with HR-related tasks such as: onboarding, training, and performance management. Including training of employees within GBS platforms.
- Ensures the collection of accurate client data to ensure successful insurance authorizations and claims processing and scheduling of new clients.
- Verifies benefits of prospective clients and resolves any issues or problems with incorrect or missing data.
- Manages and oversees company website and social media including the addition or editing of content, SEO and problem resolution.
- Coordinates with end users on all IT platforms and ensures staff has IT tools necessary to successfully perform their duties.
- Supports Healthcare Office Administrator with appeals processing.
- Resolving billing issues between employees and platforms. Support/advise employees on correcting issues.
- Review billing reports and report to the Executive Director and Accounts Receivable.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities:

- Strong knowledge of various technology and software, as well as the ability to troubleshoot IT issues.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Business Administration or related field required.
- Five years of related experience required.
- Experience providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Some supervisory or leadership experience is a plus.
