Graham C-Stores Co is seeking to fill a full-time Accountant position in Wadsworth, IL. This qualified candidate will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From $60,000.00 per year
Responsibilities: (Include but not limited to)
- Prepare and submit all state and local licenses for Graham C-Stores.
- Develop and work alongside the marketing team in the reporting aspect of Graham Loyalty.
- Responsible for preparing GL codes for all ACH deposit postings.
- Prepare daily Citgo credit card fees spreadsheet and post to the general ledger.
- Verify and post ATM reimbursements with store activity.
- Research and resolve ATM discrepancies.
- Audit stores’ daily paperwork, ensuring adherence to company policies and requirements.
- Prepare various Accounts Payable payment templates for reconciliation.
- Post various month end journal entries.
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with new processes to improve financial efficiency.
- Report analysis and findings to management team.
Qualifications:
- 4 year degree with a BS in accounting.
- Must have 4 years' accounting experience.
- Proven ability to meet strict state and local due dates.
- Be detail and deadline-oriented with strong initiative and follow-through with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Willing to work with other hard working individuals.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills required.
- Excellent written and interpersonal skills.
