Hourly Wage: $70,000.00-$80,000.00
Working Hours: 0800-1700 M-Th

Full-time or Part-time: Part-time permanent (32 hours per week)

Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an approved dental assistant course; or graduation from high school and one year of on-the-job training as a dental assistant, and required x-ray training when needed; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Dental Assistant certification in North Carolina.

Position Description
Dental assistant duties include:
Complete start of day check-off sheet
Set up room for patient
New patient interview
Expose and process dental radiographs
Complete dental charting with dentist
Assist dentist with procedure
Working up treatment plans
Patient education
Post-op instructions after a procedure
Take down room
Assist with weekly duties to keep office clean and in working order
Formulate Policies and Procedures for dental program
Provide guidance and direction to dental personnel in the service delivery of the dental program.
Attend continuing education classes to keep abreast of current dental health/dental assistant issues.
Assist Health Director in yearly program planning and budget preparation. Meet with Director as needed to discuss expenses and revenue.
Maintain and prepare monthly and yearly reports of services.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
