Job Description:
As an Auto Body Painter, you'll be responsible for prepping, painting, and finishing vehicles to restore or enhance their appearance. You’ll work with a team of experienced technicians in a clean, well-equipped shop using top-tier products and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mix and match paint colors to match vehicle specifications or customer requests
- Prep surfaces, including sanding, masking, and priming
- Apply paint using spray guns and other equipment with precision and consistency
- Inspect finished work for quality and ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Collaborate with estimators and body technicians to ensure timelines are met
Qualifications:
- 5 years of auto painting experience preferred
- Familiarity with different paint types (basecoat/clearcoat, waterborne, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Valid driver's license
