Description :
Position Summary : The Manufacturing Engineer develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods throughout operations, utilizing knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, equipment capabilities, and tooling / fixture design. They develop production layouts to increase productivity and quality standards.
Essential Functions :
- Applies basic industrial engineering concepts, approaches and techniques to product, process and services to meet industry requirements.
- Gather and analyze data, performance metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to quantify process inefficiencies and track improvements over time.
- Conducts basic work flow design and analysis
- Assist in continuous improvement projects, employing methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Total Quality Management (TQM) to drive ongoing process enhancements.
- Supports implementation plans and programs for facility / factory modifications and revisions to operating methods.
- Assist in developing training materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and documentation to ensure that optimized processes are adopted.

1. Must have proficiency in MS office applications including spreadsheet, enterprise resource planning, database, and specialized application software.
2. Ability and willingness to abide by set policies and / or safety programs established by GHM, our clients, and / or regulatory agencies which govern our performance and behavior in the normal course of our work while on GHM or the client’s property or job site.
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
