What are the responsibilities and job description for the TRIO BP - Food Service - Customer Service Representative position at Graham Enterprise, Inc?
Job Purpose: A person in the role at the store will maintain the highest level of food safety while preparing and serving fresh and convenient food options to our valued customers. To deliver the highest levels of customer service by providing quality product and service information, resolve product and service related problems, drive sales to customers, promote and abide by the high standards of GEI, and maintain regulatory and company compliances while upholding the highest standards of safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance the customer experience in our stores by maintaining a friendly positive attitude and drive store food service sales with an out-going personality. Treat each customer as a guest in our stores.
Maintain all food service-related certifications and remain compliant
Ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are met.
Safely operating kitchen equipment and following procedures for food preparation and presentation.
Assisting with the display, stocking and signage of products throughout the store.
Inspect all food items to ensure the proper temperature and freshness. Maintain the quality of all food items .Assist managers in administrative tasks including but not limited food service inventory discrepancies research/reconciliation etc.
Maintain the highest standards in store cleanliness, in store site layouts, displays and in store stocking as well as plan-o-grams and retail processes to create an environment for an outstanding customer experience.
Perform general housekeeping, including dish washing and sweeping, etc.
Work safely with equipment that can create and hold very high temperatures using appropriate personal protective equipment.
Demonstrate leadership, initiative and excitement as an example to other employees to follow for all store promotions and merchandising standards to facilitate sales growth. Set the example in everything you do.
Sustain good positive communication with customers, managers, fellow employees and vendors to enhance the performance and profitability of your store’s team and to continue to grow our customer base.
Be responsible and proactive in your shift duties and responsibilities, be timely in your work ethic, treat all customers, managers, and fellow employees with dignity and respect and maintain an honest, friendly and positive work environment for all.
Identify and resolve site issues and problems in a timely and positive manner. Efficiently and accurately processes sales transactions using the POS register system and adhere to company guidelines and policies at all times.
Perform any other duties that are assigned by management.
Skills/Qualifications:
Ability to be a leader and a team player. Have a passion for customer service, utilize exceptional people skills and have a desire to excel.
Previous food service experience strongly preferred
Food Handler Certification required. Serve Safe Preferred
Ability to multi-task, run a cash register, process transactions, and run store equipment.
Ability to work well individually as well as in a team environment
Willingness to support food service program and procedures
Maintain a disciplined approach to your daily work duties and maintain company standards in personal appearance, work ethic, store cleanliness, safety and customer service.
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
Ability to lift items, bend and work on your feet for an 8 hour work shift.
Have a can-do and team building attitude in everything you do while working at a GEI store.
