Babysitter/Nanny

Job Summary
My wife and I are seeking a compassionate and responsible Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for our 2 month old baby girl in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with infants, toddlers, and young children, ensuring their safety, development, and well-being. This role requires a proactive individual who can engage children in educational and fun activities while also managing daily routines. We hoping to find someone who can grow with us and our family!

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care for our baby girl, ensuring her safety and comfort.
• Educational activities to promote learning and development.
• Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, naps and feeding schedules
• Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children, including tidying up after activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.
• Administer first aid when necessary and maintain a safe environment by recognizing potential hazards.
• Be a second set of hands for mom, willing to do whatever mom or dad would do.
• Take baby and dog on walks
• Prep/clean bottles and pump parts
• Tidy the nursery, kitchen, living room and parent’s bedroom
• Unloading/loading dishwasher
• Laundry for mom, dad and baby
• Put away grocery deliveries
• General day-to-day activities that are needed to keep the household afloat

Qualifications

• Experience with newborns and young babies
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR; certification is preferred but not required.
• Non-smoker
• Reliable transportation
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with both children and parents.
• Punctual, trustworthy & reliable
• Must be okay with dog (25lb French Bulldog) and cat *both are very sweet and loving*
• Strong understanding of child development principles and the ability to educate through play.
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children are essential traits.
• Flexibility in scheduling is a plus to accommodate family needs.
• Ability and willingness to cook/prepare basic meals for babies.

Pay: $18.31 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
