JOB SUMMARY
The Activities Director is a key part of our facility. Some of the job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
-A flexible work a flexible schedule; this position requires some weekends and evenings.
-Responsible for running activities, creating flyers and other materials, shopping for supplies, assisting with calendar preparation, and other duties.
· Leading scheduled activities programs that inspire spiritual, cognitive, social, physical and creative expressions
· Organizing, planning and implementation of programs and opportunities that promote resident well-being
· Enthusiastically promote and communicate programs and events to residents and families
· Passionately motivate and serve residents of varying cognitive and physical abilities
· Interact with families and visitors of our residents

REQUIREMENTS
- CTRS, or Certification as an Activities Director
- Successful criminal background check
- Long-term care facility experience preferred.
