The licensed practical nurse acts under the supervision of the physician/provider. Responsibility includes providing care, treatment, and education through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides care of patients across all ages: neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric, and taking into account patient acuity levels, disabilities and stages of development in the performance of his/her responsibilities. Graduate of an accredited school of licensed practical nursing or Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
Current Illinois License
Ability to apply knowledge base of clinical variations associated with pediatric, adult and geriatric patients.
Minimum Experience One year current clinical nursing experience preferred
Current CPR Certification
ACLS/PALS Certification preferred
