Hotel restaurant, located inside the EVEN Hotel, is looking for the perfect customer service experience champion!! This is a restaurant server, cook, and bartender position, with an emphasis on guest experience. We are looking for a full time person with open availability - weekends are a must. While the majority of shifts will be evenings, from 4 : 30pm - 10 : 30pm, Sunday - Thursday. Daytime shifts available per your schedule.
- Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis, including requisitioning and stocking liquor, paper products, condiments and produce based on daily projections.
- Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards, per check from servers.
- Date all food containers and rotate as per Graham Hotel System’s Hospitality standards, making sure that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures.
- Maintain inventory log, facilitate ordering of new product, and observe FIFO rotation procedures. Check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull and line set up. Note any out-of-stock items or possible shortages.
- Maintain bar stock. Cut and store all fresh fruit / vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily.
- Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promote and document orders for drinks. Mix, garnish and present drinks using standard recipes and practicing prudent portion control.
- Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
- Input all orders into a register at the point of sale and create a check for each guest.
- Receive cash from guests, make any change needed, verify validity of charges, record charges, and ensure vouchers are properly executed, in order to balance all moneys.
- Lock up and store all beverage, food and other equipment, deposit cash drops and secure bank.
- Daily cleaning of dining area and prep area including guest dining tables and kitchen area.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
