Responsibilities
- Develop, produce, and edit creative story ideas that incorporate innovative storytelling styles to ensure differentiated content that fosters connection and sparks meaningful engagement.
- Spotlight stories of underrepresented voices, sharing narratives that challenge conventional perspectives and redefine news.
- Build and maintain strong connections with our audience, responding to comments, messages, and trends with authenticity and care.
- Foster a sense of community by sharing stories that resonate deeply with diverse audiences.
- Break the mold with fresh approaches to storytelling, experimenting with formats and platforms to amplify impact.
- Stay ahead of trends in social media, video production, and content marketing.
- BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent years of experience
- Proven experience in social media management and video production.
- Exceptional storytelling skills with a deep understanding of narrative structure and audience engagement.
- High level of proficiency with video editing software and social media tools.
- A strong creative drive and the ability to work independently as a self-starter.
- Promote teamwork attitude with station employees
- Passion for uncovering untold stories and giving a voice to the unseen and undervalued.
- Valid drivers license, good driving record, and ability to provide proof of insurance with the company-required insurance limits
