Position : Research Analyst / Evaluator II (Lead)
Status : Full-Time Hourly (4 hours)
Location : Washington, DC
Hours : 5 days per week, from 8am-5pm (1-hour lunch)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES :
Conducts comprehensive analyses of complex requirements in an effort to inquire, examine, find or revise facts, principles, and theories for internal use by an organization. Prepares investigative reports entailing the examination of public records or other specific information sources to reach a conclusive decision point. Considers numerous factors, such as whether the product is currently being produced in the United States, whether substitution of the product is possible, whether qualification requirements affect the requestor's ability to use domestic products, inventories, and whether the requested product is under development by a U.S. producer who will imminently be able to produce it in marketable quantities and any other relevant factors. Must be able to work both independently and in lead teams of analysts. Reports to a Project Manager. The minimum education requirement is a BS / BA in analytical disciplines. The minimum experience requirement is 4 years of working in an analytical and / or research environment.
