About the Role :
Moltz Construction Inc. is looking for a CDL Class A or B Driver to support the construction of a wastewater treatment plant in Parshall, Colorado. This role involves transporting heavy equipment, materials, and supplies to and from the construction site while ensuring compliance with DOT and OSHA regulation. The ideal candidate has experience in construction hauling, is comfortable with mountain driving, and can assist with general site duties when needed.
As a CDL Driver, Class A or B at Moltz Construction Inc., you will :
- Transport construction materials like gravel, sand, steel, and concrete, or move heavy machinery such as excavators and bulldozers
- Drive dump trucks, lowboys, and flatbeds to deliver and remove materials from the site
- Ensure loads are properly secured and sometimes assist with loading and unloading
- Adhere to DOT (Department of Transportation) and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations for safe transport
- Assist with basic labor tasks when not driving, such as setting up traffic controls, fueling equipment, or helping crew members out in the field
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues to maintenance
