About the Role :
Moltz Construction Inc. is looking for a Safety Manager to support a project in Henderson, Colorado, approximately 30 minutes north of Silverthorne. The project is a $39M water treatment plant consisting of extensive excavation, concrete, interior piping, and equipment work. The project is scheduled to last for last 28 months.
As a Safety Manager at Moltz Construction Inc., you will :
- Integrate into Moltz's safety culture and demonstrate proficiency in construction safety practices
- Prior experience with OSHA and MSHA regulations is preferred
- Lead daily safety meetings to reinforce workplace safety standards and protocols
- Develop and oversee daily Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) in coordination with site supervisors
- Monitor, collect, and maintain safety-related documentation from crews and subcontractors
- Conduct routine site inspections, including managing and coordinating subcontractor safety walks on a weekly basis
- Perform and document monthly inspections of ladders, fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and other safety equipment
- Maintain accurate crew training records, including 5023 forms and relevant training logs
- Oversee inventory and distribution of safety supplies, such as vests, safety glasses, and gloves, ensuring compliance with company standards
- Collaborate with the Henderson Safety Team as needed to align with company-wide safety initiatives
- Lead by example, and demonstrate a positive HSE attitude
- Conduct reports, inspections, and lead training sessions
- Facilitate involvement with relevant external partnerships related to workplace health, safety and, environment
- Support internal and external assessments of the HSE Management System
