We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Applied Machine Learning Scientist to join our team at Grainger Management LLC in Lake Forest, IL. As the ideal candidate, you will be responsible for owning the end-to-end data science project lifecycle, including data mining and exploration, model development and evaluation, solution deployment in production, and measurement and tracking of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Mining and Exploration: Design and implement data collection strategies, preprocess data, and develop data visualizations to gain insights.
- Model Development and Evaluation: Develop and train machine learning models using various algorithms, evaluate their performance, and select the best models for production use.
- Solution Deployment in Production: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy solutions in production, ensuring seamless integration and minimal downtime.
- Measurement and Tracking of KPIs: Develop and track metrics to measure the success of deployed solutions, identifying areas for improvement.
