We are currently seeking an experienced maintenance technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for completing preventive maintenance tasks and routine repairs on automated material handling system components. The ideal candidate will have 1 years of building and equipment maintenance experience, proficiency in Microsoft and CMMS programs, and knowledge of safe work practices, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) standards.
The compensation package includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans, as well as 18 paid time off (PTO) days annually and 6 company holidays per year. Additionally, Grainger provides a 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with a 6% company contribution each pay period.
As a member of our facilities department, you will work closely with contractors, service providers, and other facilities personnel to ensure seamless operation of automated material handling and mobile equipment within the distribution center. Your responsibilities will include maintaining all PIE fleet and associate assets, operating automated material handling and mobile equipment, and performing basic electrical, mechanical, drywall repair, painting, plumbing, and flooring tasks.
