Job Summary
To assist the Head Coach, this role is responsible for providing support to ensure the well-being of student-athletes while promoting their academic progress and success. All personnel must adhere to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day coaching for men's and women's jumping and multi-events
- Assist with roster management
- Evaluate student-athlete talent and correspond with prospects via various means
- Complete necessary compliance and institutional documentation
- Recruit student-athletes meeting university academic and athletic standards
- Monitor athletes' academic progress in collaboration with academic support staff
- Ensure NCAA compliance by working with the NCAA Compliance Office
- Manage the annual budget and fiscal planning
- Promote the program to increase visibility and revenue
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1-5 years of coaching experience on a collegiate, high school level, or as an intern
- Effective communication skills
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
- Sound judgment and maturity
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in intercollegiate athletics
