Job Summary
The Coordinator of Assessment performs and coordinates assessment activities to support institutional effectiveness, continuous improvement, accreditation, and compliance. The responsibilities of this role include monitoring the assessment program, assisting Academic and Administrative units with creating assessment plans. Also, to assist the Director with duties that helps the Office accomplish it’s institutional, state, and federal requirements and reporting.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
The Coordinator of Assessment is a full-time twelve-month position that is supported by Title III funds. The successful candidate for this position will function in the following roles:
- Monitor annual assessment cycle
- Providing oversight and assistance with assessment planning and reporting, course evaluations, and assessment-related professional development offerings.
- Responsibilities also require the coordinator to assist in the ongoing implementation and use of the assessment management systems, conduct technical training for faculty and staff on the use of the assessment management
- Assist with any SACSCOC reporting and requirements
- Assist programs in the completion of assessment plans and reports,
- Administers and develop Institutional surveys
- Respond to state and federal requests for specialized reports; and assist the Director with the competition and submissions of all Reports.
- Responsible for assisting units with writing and reviewing student learning outcomes and key performance indicators.
- Managing the Office’s SharePoint Sites for Assessment, Course Evaluation, and Course Syllabus, and Faculty Rosters.
- Assist with the annual eFactbook which will provide updated data as it relates to Enrollment, Graduation Rates, & Retention Rates
- Assist Faculty & Staff by providing Data needed for proposal writing
- Assist with the implementation of any software used with in the Office.
- Responsible for the completion and submission of all Title III reports (monthly, quarterly, annual performance report etc.) and requirements
- Manage the office inventory
- Process travel and requisitions
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Bachelors Degree
- 2 years of Higher Education experience, and a demonstrated understanding of the assessment and reporting process.
- Possess Technical Skills along with experience working in Microsoft Suite.
- Possess the ability to manage large databases using Microsoft Access and Excel.
- Possess the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.
- Must be willing to travel for professional development opportunities.
- Possess the ability to maintain the confidentiality of data.
- Master’s Degree
