About the Job
The role of Senior Director HR Operations is senior leadership position in the HR team involving a combination of strategic oversight and hands-on management across various HR functions and processes. Responsible for all key HR processes of the life cycle of the employee. Focus on continuous improvements and enhancing customer service for our employees (through HR inbox and other means of communication). Strong need to partner and collaborate with internal HR team to maximize efficiency of processes and to continuously enhance communication, education and support to our employees. This position will report to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).
1. Strategic HR Planning & Execution
- In Partnership with CHRO develop and execute HR operational strategies aligned with the company’s growth expansion goals.
- Monitor industry trends and evolving workforce needs to stay ahead of HR best practices.
2. HR Process Optimization
- Oversee the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR processes and workflows to ensure efficiency and scalability.
- Act as the client point of contact with ADP Total Source team ensuring the required level of support is received.
- Lead the transformation of HR systems and processes, including automation and digitization efforts, to enhance overall performance and employee experience.
- Ensure the effective integration of new technologies and HR tools to support the HR function.
3. Compensation & Benefits Oversight
- Develop and oversee compensation structures, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives.
- Monitor and manage the benefits administration process, ensuring compliance and employee satisfaction with available offerings.
- Evaluate and benchmark compensation and benefits packages regularly to maintain market competitiveness.
4. Payroll, Leave & 401K Administration
- Responsible for oversight of the payroll process in collaboration with ADP.
- Responsible for the administration of the leave management process in coordination with ADP Total Source ensuring employees receive the appropriate communication and that we are compliant with all the regulations.
- Responsible for managing the 401k plan, in alignment with our 401k Administrator and with Morgan Stanley, this includes plan monitoring, auditing, enrollment, education, testing.
5. Policies, Compliance & Legal Oversight
- Create, review, maintain, and communicate all necessary policies up to date, (employee handbook).
- Ensure that HR operations comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies (e.g., labor laws, EEO compliance, OSHA, etc.).
- Regularly audit HR practices to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Act as a liaison for external audits, responding to inquiries and ensuring regulatory compliance.

- Use HR analytics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and strategies.
- Provide regular reports (monthly /Quarterly) and insights to senior leadership on HR performance, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Drive data-driven decision-making across HR functions.
8. Budgeting & Resource Management
- Develop and manage the HR operations budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control.
- Responsible for budget expense processing.
- Evaluate and prioritize HR projects based on available resources and organizational needs.
Key Skills & Experience:
- At least 10 years of Extensive experience in HR leadership roles, with a strong background in HR operations.
- Strategic thinking with a track record of aligning HR strategies to business outcomes.
- Expertise in HR systems, technologies, and process optimization.
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to manage and mentor.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and HR regulations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to identify problems and present viable solutions.
Travel:
- Attend quarterly staff meetings in New York City required.
- Occasional travel to Branches, as needed.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now or ADP TotalSource or similar HRCM and payroll systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Spanish language skills a plus.
