Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with patrons, and ensuring an enjoyable experience for all guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Handle cash register operations, including processing payments and managing tabs accurately.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies; assist with ordering as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as local laws regarding alcohol service.
- Assist in setting up for events such as banquets or private parties when required.
- Stay informed about new drink recipes, trends in the industry, and promotions to enhance sales.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or bartending is preferred; nightclub or fine dining experience is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and retail math is advantageous for managing inventory and sales.
- Ability to operate cash registers and handle financial transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor under pressure.
- Must be of legal drinking age in accordance with local regulations.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
