Quality Engineer
Location : Tupelo
What are your main tasks?
- Support project launch strategy.
- Participate in identifying open items issues.
- Support and project timeline.
- Provide support for all pre-production builds requiring components and / or services.

Work with team to develop processes, establish process documentation and controls,and plant training needs of the newproject
Assist with training of production personnel of processing and quality standards.Ensure product conforms to customer engineering standards.Support and develop process documentation Coordinate problem solving of quality.issues, as required.
Review with SQA the component supplier performance and submission.Determine possible quality problems and prepare a list of concerns to be discussed withthe launch teams.
Monitor customer concerns / rejections during pre-production and after Job #1Coordinate capability studies via CMM and problem-solving inspection.Responsible for PPAP preparation and submission to the customer.Review and approve supplier PPAP package.Support elements of IATF, like APQP, PPAP, SPC, Control Plan and PFMEA.Review of production quality performance with Quality Manager / SupervisorAssist Engineers in development of PFMEA, and process flowchart.Work with the team to develop processes, tune-in equipment, and tooling.Establish process controls, assist in training ofnew projects.What are your qualifications?
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a technology or engineering disciplineAutomotive industry experience.At least 3 years of quality experiencePlastics experience preferred.Injection / blow mold experience preferred.Highly motivated, able to communicate effectively with both customers and peers.Have the ability to handle difficult situations in a calm, thorough timeconscious manner.And most importantly, what can you expect from us?
