What you will be doing:
- Oversees EHS activities to ensure the organization complies with applicable OSHA and EPA regulations as well as Internal EHS policy and requirements.
- Monitor EHS performance, identify risk or areas for improvement, conduct and manage EHS audits and on-site inspections to identify workplace hazard.
- Manage Investigation of EHS Incidents, prepare reports and recommendations,
- Complete incident investigations including root cause analysis.
- Implement and manage energy and sustainability management programs,
- Oversee and ensure required EHS trainings are performed and maintained,
- Demonstrated project management skills. Effective identification and management of identified issues through validated closure.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, particularly those pertaining to lockout/tagout/tryout (energy control), machine guarding, and powered industrial trucks.
- Demonstrated project management skills. Effective identification and management of identified issues through validated closure.
- Knowledge and (preferably) implementation of EHS Management Systems such as ISO 45001, OSHA VPP, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001.
- Perform risk assessments and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance in accordable with local, state, and federal requirements.
- Provide leadership with ongoing status of compliance, opportunities to improve and or sustain best management practices.
What you will bring along:
- Bachelors in safety and occupational Health degree preferred; or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience.
- Knowledge of and experience in OSHA General Industry and EPA Regulations.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of similar experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
- OSHA 30-hour training, manufacturing.
- Experience with OSHA reporting
- Train the trainer experience
- Certified in first aid
- Workers’ compensation experience
