What we are looking for:
Grammer is looking for a Production Planner to join our team in Shannon, MS. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a team environment. This individual will have an opportunity to make lasting and positive changes in our team!
Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
- Analyzes customer releases, ensures accurate data transfer to production.
- Performs daily maintenance for SAP; MD06, CO41, VL10A, VL02N, VL06G, VA05, VA32, VA31, EMFOR, VA01, VA02.
- Monitors 3PL stock levels daily and schedules by priority.
- Serves as the liaison with production supervisors to determine adjustments needed per headcount, material status, etc.
- Coordinates with warehouse supervisor to expedite transfer of materials from stock area to production area.
- Prepares weekly reporting of MPS, which includes updating from previous week.
- Interfaces with material planners and customer service to ensure accurate deliveries.
- Data entry into SAP. Make SAP adjustments.

- Excellent computer skills

- Ability to prioritize, communicate, be organized, and detail oriented
- Ability to be flexible, adapt to new challenges, and work under pressure
- SAP knowledge and experience
- Ability to utilize excel strategically
- ISO9000 knowledge and experience
- Automotive industry experience
- Product launch exposure a plus
- Management of internal and external relationships.
