What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista/Cashier/Customer Service position at Gran Caffe L'Aquila?
We are looking for an experience and passionate Barista to join our team at our bustling downtown coffee shop. For this particular position, one weekend morning day availability IS required!
The ideal candidate will be responsible for welcoming and taking care of any and all customers in a respectful and courteous manner and is also responsible for ensuring that the shop is set up and organized in a tidy way. We're looking for fun, energetic personalities who enjoy delighting customers with top-quality beverages and excellent customer service. We also love those who are truly passionate about coffee culture, and coffee roasting! Passion for Italy is a plus! We roast all of our coffee in house and feature four amazing blends that we have the pleasure of serving our guests everyday! Additionally you will be expected prepare pastries and panini's to order as well as all specialty coffee beverages. We also feature the gelato champion of Italy and a gelato lab on site as well for other awesome job perks~!
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to customers.
- Prepare beverages according to customers' needs and preferences.
- Prepare food in a timely manner.
- Be able to explain drinks & food to wait staff and customers.
- Adhere to standard kitchen safety protocols.
- Be friendly, courteous & accommodating.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
