What are the responsibilities and job description for the Endodontic Dental Assistant position at Granbury Endodontics?
Granbury Endodontics is a new state-of-the-art endodontics office looking to expand its team. Owner, Dr. Francisco Nieves, is a board-certified endodontist, and is looking for an energetic, compassionate, and competent dental assistant who will make our office more efficient and pleasant for patients. You’ll ensure an excellent patient experience and lift administrative and basic dental tasks off the dentist’s shoulders. Applicants should be well-organized with great attention to detail. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients in the dental office
- Prepare patients for exams and treatments
- Organize and prepare instruments, equipment and materials needed
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Assist the dentist through 4 and 6-handed dentistry
- Provide post-operative care instructions
- Maintain cleanliness
- Maintain accurate patient records
Skills
- Proven experience as dental assistant
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Excellent computer skills (we are a paper-less office)
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Attention to detail
- Well-organized and reliable
- High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred
- RDA Certification, Licensed in Texas
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
