We are hiring for a Parts Inventory Assistant in our parts department. The successful candidate will have experience with automotive parts, but we will train if necessary. Responsibilities – Parts Inventory Assistant:
- Receiving parts (scanning barcodes)
- Sorting and staging orders
- Assigning bin locations and placing parts in bins
- Receiving and placing tires in bins
- Receiving parts returns and returning parts to bins
- Pulling and stagging parts returns to manufacturer
- Performing inventory checks
- Scrapping used parts
- Sweeping and general house cleaning in Parts Department
- Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications/Requirements – Parts Inventory Assistant:
Automotive parts experience is preferred!- Must be able to multi-task
- Must be able to lift moderate weight items such as tires, case goods, and batteries.
- Basic computer skills are required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record
- Team-oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
- Good work ethic and a positive attitude
