Overview: Supports Bank's Deposit Operations area by possessing a strong working knowledge of all core systems, deposit products and services utilized by customers and bank employees on a daily basis. Is responsible for back up support for all job functions within the Deposit Operations area.
Required Experience & Skills: Minimum of one year banking operations experience.
Team player able to collaborate with individuals at all levels. Ability to manage multiple activities and projects at once while meeting daily operational deadlines. Exceptional attention to detail for high level of accuracy, operational integrity and adherence to Bank policy as well as all Federal and state regulations.
Position requires the ability to work closely with other members of Deposit Operations and establish a good rapport with internal customers. Must be able to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues for customers and branch personnel in a sometime challenging and time sensitive environment.
Job Responsibilities/Functions:
- Performs various operational functions which may include processing overdrafts, account maintenance, scanning CIP documentation and processing special handling items. May be cross-trained to cover other functions within the department. Demonstrates a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
- Responsible for providing accurate and timely support to front-line staff in handling customer requests. Collaborates with others to identify solutions to resolve customer issues. Strives to provide the highest level of service to internal and external customers.
- Is engaged in improving overall efficiency and productivity of department. Provides feedback and listen to others when evaluating new processes or procedures. Demonstrates flexibility in adaptability in dealing with change.
- Completes assigned duties in a accurate and timely manner. Appropriately escalates sensitive or potential high risk situations.
- Demonstrates a solid knowledge of operational procedures, policies and system capabilities.
