Their primary responsibility is to assist customers in purchasing food, and beverages, while providing good customer service. The employee will have good customer service and cash handling skills. Supervision Received:
Work is performed under the general supervision of the Recreation Programmer.
Specific duties and responsibilities:
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; the employee must regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment:
The employee is frequently working in outdoor weather conditions (humidity, high heat, cold, rain etc...)
Work is performed under the general supervision of the Recreation Programmer.
Specific duties and responsibilities:
- Provides excellent customer service.
- Maintains accurate inventory count each shift.
- Uses a POS system to complete orders.
- Prepares and serves food beverages, and desserts to customers at various events.
- Maintains a clean workspace in accordance with local and state health guidelines.
- Position must be able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- May be assigned to drive, and sell from, a golf cart during events.
- Communicates needs with the Recreation Programmer.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given.
Successfully pass a pre-employment drug testing and a background check.
Proficient cash handling skills
Possess and maintain a valid Michigan Driver’s license.
Wear prescribed uniform, and identification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AED/CPR Certified preferred
