Job Summary

Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Process transactions using a cash register or Aloha POS system.
- Handle cash and credit card payments with precision.
- Ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and welcoming for guests.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order delivery.
- Maintain knowledge of food handling safety practices and restaurant policies.
- Assist in restocking supplies as needed throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or quick service fast food restaurant is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash registers and Aloha POS systems is a plus.
- Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with customers.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided.
