We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Manager to lead our Business Platform Solutions (BPS) team. The BPS team is responsible for a host of technologies centered around enterprise collaboration, document management and workflow automation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Manager to lead our Business Platform Solutions (BPS) team. The BPS team is responsible for a host of technologies centered around enterprise collaboration, document management and workflow automation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff.
What You Will Do
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the Business Platform Solutions team, promoting professional development and collaboration.
- Project Management: Plan, execute, and manage projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Budgeting: Develop and manage the BPS budget, identifying cost-effective solutions for technology needs.
- Security: Enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect the organization's data and systems.
- Support Services: Ensure efficient operations, providing support to end-users and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party service providers and suppliers.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to align strategies with organizational goals and identify opportunities for technological advancements.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT management or a similar role (5 years).
- Strong knowledge of IT software development and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Comfortable administering Collaborative, Document Management and Workflow Automation technologies.
- Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and potential application to the university setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Sound judgment and critical reasoning skills.
- Good decision making and negotiation skills.
