The Test Proctor is responsible for supporting the operation of our testing centers. This involves ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, providing high-quality customer service, and maintaining a secure and supportive testing environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serves as the primary point of contact for exam candidates, providing information and support throughout the exam process.
- Utilizes professional proctoring procedures to maintain a secure exam environment, ensuring the integrity of the examination process.
- Administers and processes online exams, department make-up exams, special accommodation exams, and other external exams as assigned.
- Maintains records and reports related to exam administration, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Assists in troubleshooting basic technology problems affecting exam administration.
- Collaborates with colleagues to develop and implement strategies to improve exam security and quality.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with diverse groups, including exam candidates, faculty, and staff.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Able to consistently demonstrate high-quality customer service, empathy, and understanding.
- Basic computer proficiency in the use of computers and Microsoft applications.
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends, making recommendations to improve exam security and quality.
- Must be able to obtain certifications required based on the designated exam center's requirements.
