Food & Beverage Cashier - GCW
Position Summary:
Grand Canyon West is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Food & Beverage Cashier to join our team. As a Food & Beverage Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash and credit transactions using our POS system, while providing outstanding customer service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle cash and credit retail transactions using the POS system.
- Responsible for assigned cash drawer and end of day balancing of cash and sales reports.
- Handle all transactions using proper cash control policies and procedures.
- Assist guests with questions they have concerning Grand Canyon West locations, operations, Hualapai history and culture.
- Provide outstanding customer service using high service standards.
- Maintain inventory and assist in stock inventory, as directed.
Requirements:
- Good oral communication skills.
- Valid Driver's License with clean driving record preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Prior experience working with a POS system or cash handling preferred.
- Food Handlers' card preferred.
Working Conditions:
Typical caf/deli environment with high transaction volume. May be required to lift up to 25 lbs. Must be able to work varying schedules, weekends and holidays. Willingness to work in remote location.
