Job Summary

Assessment Administrative Assistant II provides high-level administrative and data management support to the Assessment Team. This part-time role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information while maintaining confidentiality. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of standard office procedures, proficiency with data entry and auditing, and the ability to work independently under general direction.

Location: Main Campus, hybrid office schedule

Schedule: 29 hours per week, hybrid schedule

What You Will Do

  • Provide administrative and office support to ensure smooth departmental operations.
  • Maintain and prioritize the Assessment Team’s agenda, tasks, and follow-ups.
  • Organize and maintain electronic records, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with FERPA regulations.
  • Review and process key approval documents using Adobe Acrobat.
  • Compile, clean, and audit data for reporting purposes.
  • Conduct audits and perform data entry related to assessment cycle processes.
  • Collaborate with student workers across various College of Education departments.
  • Assist with online meetings, video conferencing, and other digital communication tools.

What You Will Have

  • Strong communication skills with proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
  • Ability to comprehend and analyze quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Quick adaptability to new systems and technologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business or Education background preferred, such as Business Analytics, teaching degree programs, or related fields).
  • Experience creating surveys and analyzing survey data.
  • Strong data-driven mindset with the ability to use data to solve problems.
  • Experience handling a wide range of administrative responsibilities.
  • Experience in higher education is a plus.
  • An equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered upon supervisor approval.
  • Must successfully pass a background check.
