Grand Canyon University’s Colangelo College of Business (CCOB) is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, passionate, and driven Assistant Dean. The Assistant Dean will report directly to the Dean and will play a crucial role in both the strategic and operational management of the college. This includes ensuring excellence in academic programs, supporting faculty, engaging students, and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards. In this position, the Assistant Dean will assist the Dean in executing the college’s vision, maintaining its accreditation, and fostering partnerships that enhance the college's reputation and impact.

What You Will Do
- Assist in the development and implementation of the college’s strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with department chairs and faculty to enhance teaching, learning, and student success.
- Support the development of new programs and courses in response to industry needs and trends.
- Lead and coordinate efforts for accreditation renewal (ACBSP), ensuring continuous compliance with accreditation standards.
- Support faculty recruitment, onboarding, and professional development.
- Serves as a liaison for student concerns and collaborates with faculty and student affairs to foster a positive learning environment
- Assist in the planning and administration of the college’s budget, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Doctoral degree.
- 5 or more years university administrative experience or industry specific experience in leadership role. Required.
- Doctoral degree in a business discipline preferred.
- 7 or more years university administrative experience or industry specific experience in leadership role preferred.
- Must pass background investigation.
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
