Course: Church Audio

This course introduces students to fundamental concepts in sound theory, acoustic principles, microphone types and techniques, sound equipment, signal flow, cable management, stage arrangement, and documentation through lecture and hands-on activities.

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions while incorporating innovative teaching strategies.
• Engage students in cutting-edge technologies and industry trends.
• Assess student performance and mentor classroom success to prepare them for their chosen career path.
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
  
  

What You Will Bring

• Masters degree in a field related to Design, Technical Theater, or Sound Engineering from an accredited college or university AND
• two years of professional experience including worship ministry OR
• Baccalaureate degree AND
• 5 years of professional experience in church related audio.
