What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Standards Coordinator position at Grand Canyon University?
Grand Canyon University is currently seeking a Student Conduct Coordinator to help promote student success and accountability by bringing resolution to potential violations of the GCU student conduct policies. This role will be student-facing and only open to candidates within the Phoenix, AZ area.
What you will do:
Serve as one primary student conduct coordinator in the Student Conduct Process of potential violations of the Community Standards in the University Policy Handbook.
Regularly meet with students as part of the Student Conduct Process.
Maintain conduct files and database(es) on all cases, track sanctions and follow-up action and prepare conduct reports.
Help in teaching various classes through the student conduct educational offerings.
Collaborate with Residence Life staff and is a liaison to Public Safety and other departments as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
What you will have:
Minimum one year directly related work experience, preferably in a higher education.
Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
MS Office Suite
Familiar with or able to quickly learn University computer systems.
