GCU Evening Classes - Phoenix, AZ:
- Courses are in-person and on-campus and are offered once a week in the evening
Course: Descriptive and Diagnostic Analytics
This course examines foundational analytics concepts with an emphasis on descriptive and diagnostic analytics. Students solve business problems by working with selected industry tools and methods for describing what happened and diagnosing root causes based on available business enterprise data.
What You Will Do:
- Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
- Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
- Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
What You Will Bring:
- Preferred: PhD or other terminal degree with an emphasis in Data Analytics.
- Minimum: Masters in Business Administration (MBA) or Masters in Information Systems AND
- 5 or more years of experience in business analytics.
Additional required skills in Power BI or Tableau business analytics services, SQL and NoSQL database management systems and Descriptive statistics.
