GCU is presently searching for a Development Officer who can identify, cultivate, and secure donations and sponsorship prospects for GCU, all while maintaining favorable connections both within and outside the organization.

GCU is presently searching for a Development Officer who can identify, cultivate, and secure donations and sponsorship prospects for GCU, all while maintaining favorable connections both within and outside the organization.
What You Will Do
- Work alongside the GCU Advancement team to develop and close strategic gift and sponsorship opportunities.
- Regularly review specific university assets that can be leveraged to maximize gift and sponsorship opportunities.
- Maintain an active portfolio of prospects & supporters within the GCU database. Engage in a minimum of 252 quality interactions annually with these prospects.
- Collaborate internally within GCU to develop partnerships for gift activation.
- Participates in other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Flexible hours to include some weekends and evenings.
- Strategic and creative thinking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to be a flexible and reliable team player.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
