What You Will Do
- Assist in teach courses in area of expertise.
- Develop and provide instruction that incorporates current teaching methodologies, technologies and other trends that reflect advances in the requisite discipline educational instruction.
- Engage students within classroom to stimulate discussions for collective learning.
- Stay current on topics and practices related to the discipline.
- Incorporate relevant research resources and experiential activities to support course objectives, lectures and learning outcomes.
- Assess student performance in accordance with University Assessment Practices.
- Maintain compliance with all college and University policies and program accreditation/licensure requirements.
- Assist students outside classroom hours.
- Assist faculty and students with research project.
- Assisting faculty in the development of new material for their courses.
- Review departmental needs and expectations and determines most effective means of execution of specific duties to ensure goals are met in a timely fashion.
- Take direction and mentor feedback.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Must be enrolled in GCU master’s program.
- Must be able to maintain an academic GPA of 3.0
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
