The Event Audio Visual Supervisor will supervise and assist the team to ensure the smooth execution of campus events, including but not limited to event operations, providing technical assistance, coordinating with vendors / event stakeholders, and supporting the overall purpose of the University Event Services department under the guidance of the Event Audio Visual Technology Team Manager.
What You Will Do :
- Oversee and operate Audio Visual equipment warehouse process for event use, including staging equipment for upcoming events and managing overall inventory of equipment.
- Assist Event Coordinators and department stakeholders in determining event needs and provide support as a liaison between vendors and the organization for technical rentals, including equipment and labor requirements for events.
- Help manage event work orders and calendar of events to ensure that all needs are adequately addressed in a timely manner.
- Supervise and develop training plans and strategies for Audio Visual student workers.
- Ability to setup, assist, operate, and execute Audio Visual responsibilities of events as needed.
- Assist with coordination of corrective and preventative maintenance for all Event-related audio-visual equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
