Grand Canyon Education (GCE) is an educational service company that provides an array of support services in the post-secondary education sector. Formerly part of Grand Canyon University (GCU), GCE still supports and works closely with GCU. GCE designs and develops educational programs for GCU and other traditional campus institutions, as well as online partner institutions at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels.
The K12 Services and Solutions Project Director is responsible for managing multiple projects designed to enhance cooperation and collaboration between K12 Educational Development and internal and external constituents. The ideal candidate supports the overall department efforts which includes K12 Services and Solutions, Outreach and Support, and Educational Alliances.
What you will do:
- Compiles K12 Services and Solutions board report working collaboratively with department leadership.
- Oversees operational support for high-level programs, including College-specific support initiatives.
- Works collaboratively with the Colleges, their respective PDS, University Development Counselors as desired, University Admissions Counselors as desired, Event Services, and external partners to manage identified service and solution offerings.
- Supports on-campus College-specific, K12 events inclusive of facilities, catering, materials, and other needs.
- Collaborates with the Colleges to execute support of their goals relative to K12.
- Manages projects as required, including data analysis, department hosted events and college or admissions events that interact with K12.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (business, education, social science, etc.) from a regionally accredited institution.
- Experience serving in the K-12 education system; emphasis in business or entrepreneurship encouraged. K-12 extra-curricular interest/experience also encouraged (i.e. performing arts, athletics, fine arts, etc.).
- 3-5 years’ professional work experience.
- Experience in K12 education and/or familiarity with GCU and GCE systems preferred.
- An equivalent combination of directly related work experience and education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved may be substituted upon supervisor’s approval.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background check.
