Primary Responsibilities /Accountabilities/ Essential Functions
Assist with the management of student workers and provide direction for program responsibilities and tasks.
Experience/ Education
- Develop and coordinate marketing and communication efforts (e.g. video, written copy, social media, promotional items, and digital assets) pertaining to new student orientation and transition programs.
- Review and edit a variety of media and marketing content with a high level of attention to detail.
- Provide artistic direction and design for a variety of marketing efforts to reach goal demographic.
- Maintain brand standards and ensure consistency across campaigns.
- Maintain and expand knowledge of marketing practices, processes, and relevant trends.
- Track and maintain lists for relevant communications and programs.
- Collect and analyze data through a variety of means (e.g., surveys, focus groups) to provide feedback for management in assessing the effectiveness of student leadership activities.
- Assist in day-of coordination of Welcome Week, Spring Welcome Week, Lopes Out, Fostering Futures, Family Weekend, Lope Family Programs, and other programs as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
- MS Office Suite software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Social media and design platforms (Instagram, Hootsuite, Canva, Squarespace, etc.)

Experience/ Education
- Bachelor’s degree required from a regionally accredited institution, preferably in marketing or communications.
- 1-year experience in marketing-related role.
- Must have valid driver’s license.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules including evenings, holidays, and weekends when necessary.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background investigation.
