Database Coordinator
The Opportunity
Responsible to assist in the planning and support of casino mail projects and social media to achieve objectives regarding revenue, profitability and identify opportunity to increase effectiveness.
What You Get to Do
- Assist in the strategic development of database events with a focus on maximizing profits based on the goals established in the annual marketing plan.
- Assist in the deliverables of database mail projects including creation of codes, kiosk setup, proofing all direct mail and promotional materials, preparing purchase requisitions and upload to the Player Tracking System all offers.
- Assist developing database promotion rules, procedures and internal communications.
- Assist with special projects assigned by the Director of Marketing.
- Ensure that a strong communication system is maintained with all Associates by the timely distribution of mailing, promotion and procedural notices.
- Work with available information systems in the gathering of the database mail lists and promotion participation files.
- Responsible for verifying the accuracy of the criteria on mail lists.
- Develop and maintain Player Tracking System for all database promotion coupons and offers.
- Provide database activity status reports on current database promotions and offers.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency in the database promotion mail pieces.
- Prepare purchase requests for all database print fulfillment, postage costs and promotional related expense items on a timely basis.
- Maintain cost summaries for all mail pieces and database promotional projects.
- Coordinate the gathering and interpreting of promotional analysis to create report documents for database promotions.
- Coordinate transactional reports to verify and balance vendor accounts.
- Research information to support database proposal development.
- Schedule and produce various reports according to current project list and upon request.
- Organize and deploy promotional emails regarding hotel offers and promotional offers as developed.
- Schedule mail jobs and maintain communication with Sweet Grass Media and other print partners.
- Perform other departmental duties assigned to contribute to the overall success and efficiency of the team.

What Qualifies You
- Bachelor of Science degree and/or a minimum of 4 years related experience in database marketing, events or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Must be able to secure a license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).
- Responsible for following all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGR’s).
- Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.
