About Us:
Grand Cru Farm is a young, growing farm in Hunterdon County, NJ. Entering our third year of production, we produce premium organic vegetables, flowers, and herbs, and raise chickens and sheep for meat and eggs. We are Certified Organic and utilize sustainable practices.
Job Description:
We’re hiring Seasonal Farm Crew Members for the 2025 season (April–November, with flexible start and end dates). You’ll be involved with all aspects of farming, including:
- Vegetable production: planting, weeding, harvesting, washing, packing.
- Greenhouse work: seeding, watering
- Livestock care: feeding, water management, moving fencing, egg collection/processing
- General farm tasks: processing products for value-added goods, mowing, cleaning, equipment maintenance, projects, etc
- Farmers’ markets: setting up, product knowledge, selling, cleaning up.
Requirements:
- Physically fit: able to lift 50 lbs. and work outdoors in all weather for 8 hours a day.
- Flexible: willing to work some weekends and evenings.
- No experience required, but farming experience and a valid driver’s license are a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $18–$25/hour, based on experience.
- Free produce and credit for meat and eggs.
