The Player Development Manager is responsible for the supervision and leadership for VIP Hosts and Casino Host. Ensuring that the VIP department is focused on player development and cultivating new player base. They are involved with player activities and are expected to respond to guest situations as they arise.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- Ability to effectively understand the player tracking system including reading customer accounts, comp points, theoretical win, and actual win.
- Ability to effectively communicate and possess and exceptionally friendly demeanor and attitude with all guest.
- Must be able to stand / walk for up to eight (8) consecutive hours.
- Has the resiliency to deal with difficult guest in all types of business conditions and the ability to work effectively and courteously with fellow employees.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality including, but not limited to, employee data, player activity, claim activity, financial date, marketing plans, and policies.
- Ability to effectively utilize conflict-resolution techniques.
- Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and results.
- Ability to solve complex problems and maintain mental concentrations for significant periods of time.
- Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures and in an interruptive environment.
