Hourly Rate: $23 per hour
Employment Type: Full-time, Benefit Eligible, On-site only (Not eligible for remote work employment)
Schedule: 40 hours per week (Day Schedule)
Job Purpose:
The Grand Forks Housing Authority is seeking a dedicated and passionate Information Technology (IT) Specialist to join our team. In this full-time role, you will provide essential technical support, ensuring the optimal use of hardware and software systems, enhancing performance, and securing our data. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Train end-users on hardware functionality and software programs.
- Provide technical support to staff and customers in person, via phone, or remotely.
- Maintain databases and ensure the security and integrity of systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues promptly.
- Collaborate with IT managers and other departments to address system needs.
- Recommend IT equipment upgrades and assist with implementation.
- Ensure system security, including updates and patches.
- Other duties as assigned to support IT operations.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Certification in Microsoft, Google, or similar IT platforms is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or a related role.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues.
- In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.
- Experience in database maintenance and system security.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
