JOB DESCRIPTION
Education: High School Diploma or High School Equivalency
Qualifications: Must have a valid driver’s license and be 18 years of age or older.
Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Paint interior and exterior of district buildings and structures.
- Take direction from the lead painter on projects to be completed.
- Dependability is important for this position and employee is expected to be on time and flexible in their job duties.
- Will be required to wear safety equipment when appropriate to the job.
Work Environment and Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; occasionally walk and stand. Lift sixty (60) lbs. occasionally, with the ability to reach, stand, walk, carry, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, sit, and/or crawl. Employee must be able to climb ladders and paint on scaffolding. Maintain effective audio/visual discrimination and perception to the degree necessary for the successful performance of assigned duties; Maintain mental capacity, allowing for effective interaction and communication with others. The job is performed under some temperature extremes and under conditions with some exposure to risk of injury and/or illness.
Work Schedule: May through August.
Hours: 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday
