Snack Bar Attendant

Position Overview:

Grand Harbor is hiring a weekend Snack Bar Attendant. The Snack Bar Attendant is responsible for performing a variety of duties within a snack bar establishment, including communicating with members and accommodating member’s needs, cleaning and sanitizing work area, maintaining inventory and assisting in dining areas as needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greets members by using their last name.
• Take orders, provide information about menu items, looking for opportunity to upsell products.
• Operates POS register and receives payment, ensuring that correct member account is charged.
• Cleans and stocks work area, ensuring that snack bar is ready for the next day before end of shift.
• Assists with a variety of dining related functions as needed.
• Receives inventory, moves, and lifts food and beverage products and supplies.
• Ensures proper food handling procedures are followed including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperature of products.
• Clean and sanitizes workstation and equipment.
• Perform all opening and closing duties based on operational checklists.
• Such other duties as may be assigned by the company at its discretion from time to time.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

· Ability to multi-task while maintaining a professional demeanor always.

· Must have strong communication skills with the ability to read and comprehend instructions and correspondence.

· Must be able to lift and/or push objects weighing over 40 pounds.

Credentials and Experience:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must have at least one year of customer service experience.
• Experience in a country club or hotel environment is preferred.

Job Type: Part time/Seasonal or Full Time/Seasonal but Weekends availability is a must.
