Hours: 35.0 hours per week
Applicants for this position must meet the following criteria:
1. Must have State Board Licensing for Registered Nurse. A Michigan School Nurse certificate is required but RNs qualify for interim certification and will be required to meet standard or professional certification requirements (must have or be willing to get BSN).
2. Experience working with children and children with special needs.
3. Have the ability to follow directions and work with others in a positive manner.
4. Have the ability to serve as main health care provider for students keeping accurate records and communication with physicians, parents, staff and students.
5. Must have ability to assist physicians, parents and staff to detect health needs.
6. Must have ability to administer medication, treatment and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
7. Must have ability to train others to perform various procedures.
